Dayo Bello

Dayo knew from a young age that music would be his career and passion. Born in London and raised by Nigerian immigrant parents, Dayo grew up in a home surrounded with music. Eventually, around age 10, Dayo began to sing and play drums at his church. Even at a young age, his voice stood out amongst others, and he quickly became the choir’s soloist. As his passion for music grew, Dayo transferred to the prestigious BRIT School in London (alumni include Amy Winehouse and Adele) to study music full time. Soon after graduating, Dayo began to release music as a solo artist. Inspired by the likes of Sade, Teddy Pendergass, and Marvin Gaye, Dayo quickly garnered a following with his modern twist on traditional soul/r&b. His most recent release “Outside – EP” was well received by critics and garnered immense support from Spotify’s top curators. Expect a new project from Dayo coming this year.
