Two of the most distinctive and influential forces in New Wave and alternative culture, The B-52s and DEVO, today announce two unmissable UK co-headline arena shows for June 2026. The pioneering groups will play The O2, London on Saturday 20 June and Manchester’s AO Arena on Sunday 21 June, with special guests The Rezillos and Lene Lovich. Register now for access to the AEG Presents presale.
These UK dates mark the next chapter of the bands’ critically acclaimed Cosmic De-Evolution Tour, which recently tore through the US and Canada to rave reviews. Though both groups had stepped back after farewell runs in the early 2020s, a shared performance during SNL’s 50th anniversary sparked a reunion that energised fans worldwide. The overwhelming response to their US shows has now brought this electrifying double bill to the UK for a pair of long-awaited nights celebrating the best of New Wave.
For The B-52s, these shows mark their first UK appearance since 2019. Still led by original co-founders Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, and Cindy Wilson, the band continue to thrill audiences with their technicolour stage presence and catalogue of era-defining hits. With a legacy spanning more than four decades, their joyous, danceable, genre-blending sound remains as iconic and influential as ever.
Matching that momentum, DEVO return to the UK with the same renewed fire that fuelled their acclaimed 50 Years of De-Evolution tour in 2023. Fronted by original members Mark Mothersbaugh, Gerald Casale, and Bob Mothersbaugh, the band’s pioneering mix of art rock, synth-pop and punk once again surged into the spotlight with a landmark compilation and major live comeback. Their US run with The B-52s became a standout moment on the live calendar—now set to ignite UK arenas in 2026.
