Globally acclaimed Australian band The Temper Trap make their long-awaited return in 2025 with their first new music in nine years.

Since the release of their seminal debut album Conditions in 2009, The Temper Trap’s sound has transcended generations, its cinematic, emotionally-charged songwriting leaving a lasting imprint on popular culture across three album releases (including two Australian #1’s).

Recent years have seen a resurgence of love for the band. In 2021, fan favourite ‘Love Lost’ was flung back into the spotlight, when it appeared on Mac Miller’s posthumously re-released Faces mixtape (400 million streams), connecting with an entirely new audience. Similarly, a wave of recent remixes for the iconic, chart-topping ‘Sweet Disposition’ from the likes of John Summit, Vintage Culture, VXSION and Lost Frequencies have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams, re-introducing the band to dancefloors, charts and fans across the globe.

Now, in 2025, with billions of streams to their name and after a well-deserved break, The Temper Trap return.
