PENETRATION

In November 2024 one of the most innovative acts to emerge from the British punk movement, Penetration, will embark on a UK tour taking in 4 major cities. This will be the first headline tour for the band, known for such classic singles as Don’t Dictate, Firing Squad and Shout Above The Noise, since they released their critically acclaimed 3rd album, Resolution, in 2015.

The tour will cap a very active year for Penetration who, following the success of Pauline Murray’s detailed and enlightening autobiography Life’s A Gamble, are releasing a new recording of their seminal album Moving Targets. MOVING TARGETS RE:CALIBRATED, LIVE AT POLESTAR, is a fresh take on the classic LP, recorded live in the Newcastle studio in 2007, and mixed this year by Robert and Alex Blamire. There will be a strictly limited edition of 250 vinyl copies, which will be available to pre-order at www.paulinemurrayx.xom/shop from April. The new album will be preceded by a single and available on streaming platforms later this year.

Penetration are also taking to the stage at Bearded Theory festival in Derbyshire on the weekend of May 23-26, as part of a fantastic bill featuring Amyl and The Sniffers, Janes Addiction and Sleaford Mods.

Penetration are currently in the studio working on new material with plans for a brand new record in the coming months. More details on this will be released soon.

Special Guests on the headline dates will be Essential Logic, completing a bill that showcases two of the great female band leaders of the punk and post punk era.
