Maisi and the Disco (formally know as ‘Maisi’) is a genre-blurring alt-pop artist, producer, and DJ, known for her fusion of electro-pop, indie-pop, and hyperpop. Her sound pairs glossy, forward-thinking production with raw, introspective lyricism. She captures the chaos, humour and anxiety of being in your twenties, making music that is as self-aware and emotionally charged as it is danceable. Maisi is the creator of The Cxnty School Disco, a chaotic, glitter-fuelled celebration of nostalgia and rebellion, fusing 2000s bangers, hyperpop anthems, and indie sleaze classics. Inspired by the awkward magic of school discos and the unapologetic energy of the rising cxnty pop scene, it’s become one of London’s most exciting emerging club nights. Launched in a Peckham basement at the end of 2024, the event went viral on TikTok and has sold out every night since.
