Following a dazzling performance at the first ever SXSW London last month, BRIT award-winning artist Mabel has announced the ‘Right On Time’ UK and European headline tour. Kicking off in Bristol on November 3rd, this tour will see Mabel perform seven dates across the UK and Europe, including shows in London, Paris, Stockholm and more. Reflecting the deeply personal nature of her forthcoming mixtape, these special intimate shows will be a return to her roots and offer fans a closer, more personal experience with Mabel than ever before. The ‘Right On Time’ tour marks Mabel’s first headline tour since 2020 and will be the first chance to experience tracks off her brand-new self-titled mixtape, out July 25th.
Speaking about Love Me Gentle, Mabel said: “Love Me Gentle was the first track written for my mixtape. It’s about in general how I wish people would think before judging someone and this song is my plea to be more gentle when it comes to how we treat each other.”
Speaking about the mixtape, Mabel said: “The tape is all new music made in the last few months with some of my nearest and dearest. It’s really important to me with this project that people know that this is where I’m at now and I wanted it to come out without too much overthinking. It’s a blend of all the genres and cultures that make me who I am and I would say it’s beautiful organised chaos. It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone and I think it’s the first time in a long time I’ve been this unfiltered. There’s both a simplicity and a depth to the music that I love, in a way I just wrote it without too much thought but afterwards I realised it’s kind of a toxic love letter to my 10 years in the industry.”
Mabel, born Mabel Alabama-Pearl McVey, is one of the UK’s brightest popstars.
