KUN (pronounced Quinn) is the celebrated multi-hyphenate singer, producer, fashion icon, and global pop sensation hailing from China. Today, he announces his self-titled sophomore full-length album and English-language debut project, KUN out February 6 via 88Rising. Afteryears recording and performing within the Chinese boy group ecosystem where he was unableto explore the music he was truly passionate about, this album is a homecoming to the soundsthat shaped him and establishes KUN in full creative control.The album drifts between decades and genres, across rock, soul, jazz, pop and R&B, filteringthe timeless textures of American music’s roots with contemporary clarity that showcases his expansive vocal range. The 11-song project includes a feature from GRAMMY-nominated frequent Anderson .Paak collaborators, Free Nationals. It hears KUN at the helm, co-writing and co-producing all of the music. KUN says of the album, “I used to ask, ‘What do they want to hear?’ This time, I finally asked, ‘What do I want to sing?’I’m drawn to sounds that feel most human and warm, like vintage records, old films, classicmelodies that feel like they’ve lived longer than we have. I want to make music that carries thatfeeling forward. I want to make music that can resonate across generations and cultures and reach all of us.” To celebrate the news of the album, KUN has also announced his spring North American/UK/European tour including stops in LA, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, NYC, DC,London and Paris this April.

These follow major 2025 US performances including the sold out Fonda Theatre headlining concert and sets at Head In The Clouds Festivals in NYC and LA.KUN features recently released singles “What a Day” – a celebratory retro-soul pop groove was recorded live to tape with an extravagant Old Hollywood musical inspired music video – as well as his international debut “Deadman” and “Jasmine” – a funk-influenced romantic single.KUN (Cai Xukun) is a cultural force who has broken streaming records, earned major honorsfrom Billboard, and collaborated with world-class creatives like Grammy-winning director DaveMeyers and DJ KSHMR.
