After a landmark year defined by major achievements and career-shaping moments, Latin GRAMMY®-winning group Grupo Frontera announces their highly anticipated international tour, the “Triste Pero Bien C*brón Tour,” marking their long-awaited return to the stage following their last tour in 2023. This new run will bring their sound to audiences across South America, Central America, Mexico and Europe, ushering in a new chapter in their global expansion.
The tour arrives alongside the group’s third studio album, “Lo Que Me Falta Por Llorar,” a project that blends vulnerability, energy, and the norteño-cumbia sound that has made them one of the most beloved and influential groups in the regional Mexican movement. Inspired by the emotional irony of their song “Triste Pero Bien Cabrón” featuring Puerto Rican superstar Myke Towers, the announcement is paired with a video highlighting the contrast of sadness, release, and celebration. Staying true to their humor and authenticity, the clip stars acclaimed Mexican actor Luis Gerardo Méndez navigating a chaotic, emotional day that transforms—thanks to Frontera’s music—into an invitation to rise, heal, and enjoy.
The announcement follows a historic year marked by major milestones and international recognition. The group made history as the first regional Mexican act to perform at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry and received two GRAMMY® nominations for their EPs “Mala Mía” (with Fuerza Regida) and “Y Lo Que Viene,” along with eight nominations at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Their presence at the 2025 Latin GRAMMYs further cemented their influence with nominations for Best Regional Mexican Song for “Hecha Pa’ Mí” and “Me Jalo.”
With the “Triste Pero Bien C*brón Tour,” Grupo Frontera continues to bring their sound and energy to audiences worldwide, solidifying their international rise as one of the defining voices of modern regional Mexican music.
