The Waiting Room, London
Diana Silvers has long been known as a successful actress and model, but music has quietly been her truest form of expression. The California native spent her childhood studying cello, making mix CDs, and learning guitar; all of which shaped her as a musician.
After years of quietly writing on guitar and piano, Diana released her first single, “June”, a deeply personal track, establishing her as the architect of her own sound, and landed on Rolling Stone’s “Songs You Need to Know”. Its follow-up, “Airplane”, further showcased her cinematic storytelling and melodic warmth.
Though she’s graced screens and runways for years, Diana made her live performance debut at Newport Folk Festival – a breakout performance that Boston.com said “struck exactly the right tone… Her voice was clear, her lyrics were observantly honest, and her presence on stage was calming in the early afternoon sun.” Diana then hit the road supporting Batiste, marking her first time as a touring artist performing to sold-out audiences across the country, marking the beginning of a new chapter.
Her debut album, From Another Room, is out now. It serves as a striking introduction to an artist defining her own lane in modern folk music.
