Unity Rocks, an umbrella organisation of musicians, artists and writers founded by Gary Powell of the Libertines, to unify the United Kingdom through music, has teamed up with ‘Hope Not Hate’ to stage a very special event at O2 Academy Brixton on Wednesday 7th September. This show will be the first of many events planned across the UK featuring a wide diversity of acts. The Brixton show will feature a full set from headliners The Libertines and support Rat Boy. More acts will be announced when tickets go on sale Monday August 8th at 9:00am

Says Gary Powell: “The idea of ‘Unity Rocks’ is to bring people together, regardless of their creed, colour, religion, of whether they voted Brexit or not. This is not about politics or politicians, it’s about unifying as a nation and working to make a united more tolerant Britain, after all the future is in our hands. By using the power of music we hope to ‘pluck' the ears of the political elite to our view and make them notice that our voices must be heard - whether it be via song or otherwise.”
