The ability of music to make us feel emotional is undeniable, and when paired with the right images it can be an incredibly powerful combination.
Using well-known pieces of music in films and adverts is a practice well used by film makers and brands alike and can create highly memorable scenes. We've put together our favourite uses of song in adverts and films, but first, here are the answers to our advert & film song Facebook post:
A & 2 - Phil Collin's 'In the Air Tonight' was used by Cadbury's drumming Gorilla
B & 3 - Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody was the soundtrack to the famous headbanging scene in Wayne's World
C & 1 - Mr Oizo and his furry yellow friend Flat Eric were adopted by Levi for their memorable ad campaign.
