Wilko Johnson – Game of Thrones

The former Dr. Feelgood star, who played to a sold out O2 Shepherds Bush Empire with Roger Daltry last week, made his acting debut playing mute executioner Ser Ilyn Payne, but he admits he had no idea just how successful the big-budget fantasy series was. "They said it was for an American TV series and I thought it was going to be like Xena: Princess Warrior so I thought, 'I'd love a bit of that, at least I'll get a leather jacket out of it or something'. "The first filming was in Ireland and I looked round and thought, 'B**ody hell, this is a proper job!' It was great fun. My character doesn't have a tongue so I didn't have to learn lines."

Matt Willis – Eastenders

His arrival in EastEnders hadn’t exactly been kept quiet – but many viewers were still surprised when Matt Willis showed up on the soap. The McBusted star – who has joined the show as Stacey Branning’s boyfriend Luke Riley - appeared for the first time as Kat continued her pursuit of Stacey. 'I’m so thrilled to be a part of such an iconic show,' Willis said of joining the soap. 'I grew up watching EastEnders, so this is really exciting for me.'

Matt won't be having a long stint on the soap though, as he will be going on tour with new superband, McBusted - which brings together the four members of McFly ( Harry Judd, Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher) with Matt and his Busted bandmate James Bourne.
