Keyshia Cole

Keyshia Cole, born October 15, 1981, is a Grammy-nominated R&B singer and songwriter from Oakland, California. Known for her soulful voice and raw emotional delivery, she began her career as a backing vocalist for MC Hammer before signing with A&M Records. Her 2005 debut album, The Way It Is, was certified platinum and led to her hit BET reality show, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, which became one of the network’s most-watched series.

In 2007, her second album, Just Like You, delivered three No. 1 R&B singles—“Let It Go,” “I Remember,” and “Heaven Sent”—earning four Grammy nominations. Her third album, A Different Me (2008), also went platinum and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Cole continued her success with albums like Calling All Hearts (2010), Woman to Woman (2012), Point of No Return (2014), and 11:11 Reset (2017), collaborating with artists including Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. She later hosted One on One with Keyshia Cole on Fox Soul.

Celebrated as the “Princess of Hip-Hop Soul”, Keyshia Cole is set to return to the stage with her highly anticipated UK Tour in September 2025.
