Rod Stewart

Following his sell out 2010 tour, Rod Stewart took to the stage with his Live The Life tour in June 2013. Never failing to deliver, the Grammy Award winning, two time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and one of the world’s best selling musical artists, played to arenas across the country including Nottingham, London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Sheffield.

The tour capped an extraordinary year for Rod Stewart. His book ‘Rod – The Autobiography’, was released which saw him take a candid and romping look back at his life both on and off the stage.  From his humble British roots – to his hell-raising years touring with the trailblazing bands ‘The Jeff Beck Group’  and ‘The Faces’, not forgetting his great loves (including three marriages and eight children) and decades touring the world as a solo performer, Stewart’s book is a riveting ride through one of Rock’s most remarkable lives.

Then 4 months later in September 2013 Rod started his ‘Time’ tour, which saw him perform the first show at the 13,000 capacity Leeds Arena, as well as opening Glasgow’s £125 million arena The SSE Hydro.

“Rarely has a singer had as full and unique a talent as Rod Stewart -- a writer who offered profound lyricism and fabulous self-deprecating humor, teller of tall tales and honest heartbreaker, he had an unmatched eye for the tiny details around which lives turn, shatter, and reform -- and a voice to make those details indelible. His solo albums were defined by two special qualities: warmth, which was redemptive, and modesty, which was liberating. If ever any rocker chose the role of everyman and lived up to it, it was Rod Stewart.”
