Hudson Taylor are brothers from the southern suburbs of Dublin who write beguiling folk songs. They’ve already amassed a huge underground following - their songs have had over two and a half million YouTube views already. The Osea EP’s lead track ‘Care’ is produced by Florence & The Machine and Ed Sheeran collaborator Charlie Hugall and is a gentle, lolloping anthem with captivating dual harmonies. An acoustic version available on YouTube had nearly 70K views in less than a month.
Hudson Taylor spent a large chunk of 2013 perfecting their live show playing to over 200,000 people. They’ve supported Jake Bugg and The Rolling Stones (where they triumphantly filled in as a last minute replacement for Tom Odell in Hyde Park), as well as pitching up at a variety of festivals including Glastonbury, Cambridge Folk Festival and Bestival. Their own headline shows have been similarly in ascension; they played sold out shows at Whelans in Dublin in April and London’s Dingwalls in July 2013.
